A lot of couples opt for small ceremonies instead of the large elaborate wedding ceremonies. This choice is made for various reasons. Maybe planning the big wedding became overwhelming, or in today’s economy couples just can’t afford the cost of a large wedding ceremony, or if you are like me, you realize that as long as the love of your life is there by your side, then the rest is just distracting details.
However you choose to “tie the knot” you should make it a point the have the event captured by a photographer. It can be as simple as having portraits of the bride and groom or having the photographer capture the event from beginning to the end of the ceremony, formal shots with witnesses or family members, and any details such as the bouquet, shoes, or other wedding day items. As a photographer offering unique lifestyle shots, I enjoy capturing elopements. I believe that the intimacy of the elopement wedding day moments are more special than the traditional weddings.
In terms of products, I offer all the same things that a traditional wedding photographers offers – DVDs of your images, heirloom albums, prints, canvasses, photo books,… etc. So if you are considering eloping, by having a small ceremony at home or just visiting the court house, allow me to tag along and capture your special moment in time.
